6 Celebrities Who Wish They Could Go Back In Time

It isn't easy being rich and famous, or so you would think by looking at Charlie Sheen and his protégé Lindsay Lohan. Most of us would like to think we could do moderately better than that, even when being chased by paparazzi and criticized for our professional failures. Other celebrities don't have the laundry list of OMG disasters .... these folks could come out winners if it wasn't for one little mistake. Oops!

1. Tiger Woods Hits the Tree
No, not with a golf ball. He hit the tree outside his house with his SUV while his wife was chasing him with a 9 iron, and who could blame her? His string of infidelities was longer than Lohan's rap sheet, and to add insult to injury, was about to go insanely public. $750 million later, and even using the best business insurance his partnerships and investments still managed to fail.

2. Aaron Hernandez Murders Odin Lloyd

New England Patriots' tight end Hernandez wasn't squeaky clean, but it didn't stop him from going pro in the fourth round of the 2010 draft. The man who occasionally smoked pot, had an admittedly rough upbringing, and used to catch BCS title-winning tosses from role model Tim Tebow, fatally shot a semi-pro football player. Bet he'd like to take that back, and so would the grieving family......

3. Topher Grace Exits the That 70s Show
Fans knew they could depend on one thing if nothing else: no matter what happened to the characters, Eric Forman and company would eventually end up stoned in the basement and all would be right with the world. Then, Grace leaves to pursue his "budding movie career," but that hasn't worked out exactly as he'd like. Aside from a few parts here and there, he's never seen the adoration and success he had on the show.

4. Michael Keaton Gives Up Being Batman
Dude, you're a superhero for crying out loud! Keaton saw tons of success in comedy and then went on to play the spectacularly popular caped hero, but then just lost interest in acting all together, apparently. We haven't seen him much since, except for his "appearance" as Ken in Toy Story 3. Now nearing age 60, it's unlikely we'll see many Keaton reappearances in any blockbuster movies.

5. John Travolta Turns Down Chicago Part - 3 Times
Most actors would settle for having one cult classic on their resume, but Travolta scored two with Greaseand Pulp Fiction. Then, for reasons yet to be adequately explained, he turned down the lead part inChicago that eventually scored Richard Gere a Golden Globe award. Travolta's decline is most evident in his tragic cinema failures such as Battlefield Earth, dubbed by some to be the worst movie ever made.

6. Jim Carrey Humiliates Himself, Emma Stone, and Everyone Else
Wisecracker Carrey isn't known for his calm demeanor and eloquent poise, but he wasn't known as a complete lunatic, either. At least he wasn't until he released the creepiest video ever, declaring his love for a much younger and not at all eager Emma Stone. YouTube has never been the same, but neither has Carrey's reputation.Celebrities may be rich and famous, but unfortunately they don't yet have time machines. These definitely could use one.
