Jacquemus, the label created by the young Simon Porte Jacquemus, is proof for youth-bound energy in Paris. Like in the last collection I get the feeling that the designer wants to showcase a very special kind of a woman, her attitude, her ethic, her wishes and her dreams. The Jacquemus girl for Fall/Winter 2013 is young, fresh, a bit shameless, kind of bored, rebellious but still french chic with the formal shirt and the tricolour emblem on the chest. An image of a parisian girl. ”She’s nonchalant, as always.” Photography is an important element in the communication of Jacquemus. For each collection Simon creates a visual story to underline the character of the seasons Jacuqemus girl. This collection’s visual treatment features the girls hanging around on the streets and the piscine.
